Lyndal Photography Blog bio picture

Welcome

Thank you for visiting my blog!

Here you will find sneak peaks from recent sessions, updates and bits about me, my life and family.

I feel so blessed to have found my passion in photography and so lucky to have made it my “job”!

My goal is to always find fun, unique and personalized ways to make every session new and exciting for all my clients and never have a repeat shot, it keeps me on my toes.

Your special event, whether it be that one special wedding day, family portrait or even a desire for new photos, is all about you. The photos I take are always centered on capturing the true you and bring your inner colours out for the world to see.

More cards..

Yes, Monday night was my favourite night of the month, card making night! Monday started off freezing, I sat on the lounge for most of the day in my tracksuit and even put my ugg boots on! I left home around 6:30pm and when I got in my car it told me it was 17 degrees outside, now I know it was the first day of Autumn but thats just ridiculous! As I climbed up the mountain it got colder and colder, it was 15 degrees when I got there and stupid me took my uggs off and put thongs on!

Anyways, it was warm when we got inside and had a coffee and far to many lollies! here are a few pics of the cards I made, I love the boy one, I can’t wait to give it to Max for his birthday, I know he wont appreciate it now but being such a softie, I know he will when he is older.

bye bye Summer..

Wow, what a summer i’ve had.. Ive made some lifelong family friends, met an international wedding photographer rock star, had photos of MYSELF taken by SOMEONE ELSE! Camped in the rain, watched my grandfather live through Christmas and New Years, fell in love with Alize, had hair extension, took them out, got them put back in and then took them back whilst bored in a blackout, but most of all, had an awesome time watching my kids grow and spend time with my family. I’d die without them. They are the reason I live.

Here is a photo of today at the park with Maxi’s green machine.

Hanging out..

Today I was cleaning my kitchen and while I was doing it I was thinking of my friend Mel, we met when we went camping at Stockton at Christmas time. I remember when I was told by my friend Laura that her neighbour was coming with HER 5 KIDS I freaked out.. wow, 5 kids, we will have people everywhere, when will I relax, I hope the kids get along, what if they fight or pick on each other or gang up? I had all these things running through my head BUT we all got along like a house on fire, it was an awesome time and i’ve made a awesome friend that I consider one of if not my closest!

Anyways, while I was cleaning my kitchen and thinking about her ‘ding’ went my phone and it was a SMS from her saying ‘hi’.. now this often happens to me, I will think of someone and I will get a message or they will ring me, i’m sure this happens to everyone but it kinda freaks me out a bit. I messaged her back saying come over. She made an excuse and then must have felt slack so sent one back later saying that she will pop over! So she came with her 2 youngest. Aidan and Madison..

Here are a few photos of the kids this morning.. and one of the MANY faces of Maxi.

Effie & Ta

Last Saturday I had the pleasure of photographing Effie and Ta’s wedding at Cabarita. It was a casual affair which was lovely, they both got ready in the same room at the Raddison in they city. Then we went downstairs to take a few photos in the torrential Sydney rain. Driving to the ceremony at Cabarita it POURED  and I mean bucketed down, Thank God for the courtesy umberella’s at the Raddison!

The ceremony was lovely, they only had their immediate family there which made it oh so more intimate.

They followed the ceremony by a lovely dinner at the Boathouse Restaurant in Glebe, overlooking the Anzac Bridge.

I took my friend Skye along with me who I scared the hell out while driving, texting and eating cheeseburgers in the torrential rain along Parramatta Road! I was multi tasking!

Here are a few for you Effie & Ta, Hope you had a lovely day together yesterday and I will see you again next time Ta is back from WA
